Programs We Offer:
Play and Learn Groups
Our play and Learn Groups provide a unique learning opportunity for families with children ages birth through five years old that live in the Belle Grove Elementary Catchment area. Groups are offered two days a week and focus on Literacy, Math, and Social Emotional Foundations. Wraparound Services
Eviction Prevention/Rapid Rehousing, GED Classes Health Insurance, Prenatal Courses,WIC, Childcare Subsidy, Access to Childcare, Mental Health Services, Workforce Development, Job Readiness Programs, Food Assistance, Social Skills Groups and Certification Programs |
Learning Parties
In partnership with Anne Arundel Community College and Ready At Five, the Judy Center provides monthly Learning Parties that provide parent education, activities, and support for families. Dinner is provided to families that attend. Childcare Providers:
EXCELS and Accreditation The Judy Center provides ongoing technical assistance to childcare providers interested in applying for, or advancing within, Maryland EXCELS. Maryland EXCELS is a statewide system that awards ratings to childcare providers based on meeting nationally recognized quality standards and best practices (find out more about Maryland EXCELS here). |
Family Engagement Events
Family Engagement events are offered monthly and provide a fun learning opportunity for parents to enjoy with their children. Social Emotional Foundations For Early Learning (SEFEL)
The Judy Center provides weekly SEFEL lessons to Judy Center families and biweekly lessons to Prekindergarten students. These sessions help children learn to identify their feelings, manage their emotions, and build relationships. |
